recorded
in the Old Testament.
Six
specific
incidences of Resurrection are recorded in the New Testament
as well as
an unspecified number of resurrections immediately following the death of Jesus.
Five men performed resurrections: Elijah, Paul, and Peter
are
each recorded
as having
raised
one
person from the dead. Counting
himself,
Jesus resurrected
four people
from death
and Elisha
raised one when he was aliveand his bones raised another after his death.
This certainly ranks only second to the creation of life as the most advanced of
the powers of the Elohiym.

prayed unto the Lord. 34 And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his
mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands:
and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.
35 Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and
stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child
opened his eyes. 36
And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he
called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.

Jesus
Resurrects Lazarus
John 11:41
Then they took away the stone
from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said,
Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42

believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a
loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
